With the unveiling of the OnePlus 12 in December, all signs point to OnePlus winning the Galaxy S24 in the fist. Recent rumors suggest that Samsung's new flagships will make their debut January 17th event in San Jose, California.

OnePlus has built its brand on providing high-end phones at a more affordable price than most Android competitors. In recent years, an earlier launch window is also used to stay ahead of the competition and, at least for a short time, offer the first flagship of the year.

Rumors have been circulating for months about the details of the OnePlus 12, and OnePlus itself is not shy about sharing the upcoming features. The smartphone is expected to offer a display 2-inch 6,7K with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. We also heard that the OnePlus 12 will offer four cameras, including a lens with a rear-facing camera flanked by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP telephoto lens. The front camera promises a 32MP performance.

You'll find plenty of power under the hood, thanks to the chipset, along with up to 24GB of RAM. The OnePlus 12 will also offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, according to several reports.

While OnePlus has always cared about the power of its flagship smartphones, there are also indications that the handset's display will be top notch.

OnePlus has partnered with display manufacturer BOE to supply the OnePlus 12's display, according to Audit Notebook Report. The phone's display will apparently offer brighter graphics than any previous OnePlus flagship, along with more sharpness and power output. All of these should combine to provide both better visual and health-friendly eye characteristics, according to the report.

OnePlus will likely announce both pricing and availability of the OnePlus 12 at its event next month — at least for the Chinese market. For the global version, most reports indicate that prices will start at $699.
