Gmail on Android may soon let you easily unsubscribe from spam

Gmail's unsubscribe button feature is not yet widely available

According to AssembleDebug on TheSpAndroid, the Gmail unsubscribe button is currently a work in progress in the latest version of the Gmail app on Android. Specifically, the Unsubscribe button will be right next to the sender's details, and tapping on it will unsubscribe you from future emails.

Gmail on the desktop slaps an unsubscribe button on one message when it finds an unsubscribe link in the message itself. All you need to do is hit the unsubscribe button and you'll be rid of junk emails in no time. On your phone, you need to tap on the menu icon with three dots to find the unsubscribe button. According to AssembleDebug, the prominent "Unsubscribe" button will automatically appear on emails from which you can unsubscribe.
