Η Apple θα προσφέρει πολλά αποκλειστικά στοιχεία με την του OLED iPad Pro για να δημιουργήσει ένα μεγαλύτερο κενό από το iPad Air

In his last Power On Newsletter, industry analyst Mark Gurman states that Apple is working to create broader elements of differentiation between the iPad Pro and iPad Air series. Gurman claims that the current iPad Air model has a slightly smaller screen with a design almost identical to the iPad Pro. Additionally, the smaller 11-inch model of the iPad Pro has an LCD screen, similar to the Air. One of the most important differentiators is the ProMotion 120Hz display. However, this is about to change with the release of the OLED iPad Pro.

Gurman confirms earlier reports that the iPad Pro will feature an all-new design it will feature an OLED display and an upgraded M3 chip. These three aspects will separate the OLED iPad Pro from the iPad Air. It was also reported that Apple will end the display distinction between the iPad Pro, as both models are expected to feature an OLED display. This will allow the company to position both iPad Pro models as the premium variants, while the rest of the range remains LCD.

Gurman also states that Apple is working on a redesigned Magic Keyboard with a sturdier aluminum frame. The new Magic Keyboard will also make the OLED iPad Pro a more premium machine than the iPad Air, which will be compatible with the existing version of the accessory. It was previously reported that Apple's redesigned Magic Keyboard for the OLED iPad Pro will make it look more like a laptop. Since the company is opting for a redesigned frame with slightly larger 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes for the OLED iPad Pro, it makes sense for Apple to introduce a redesigned Magic Keyboard.

While the aforementioned changes are welcome, the price of OLED iPad Pro models could increase significantly. It was previously reported that the OLED iPad Pro could cost up to $1.800, which is more than the entry-level M3 MacBook Pro 14-inch. It remains to be seen how Apple will position the OLED iPad Pro and how the tablet's functionality could differ from the iPad Air as both models will run the same version of iPadOS.
