Instagram has a new 'trick' to make photo posts more engaging

It's worth noting that Instagram has long had a feature for adding songs to individual photos. However, incorporating music into photo carousels makes even more sense, with Zuckerberg stressing:

Additionally, Instagram is experimenting with adding music to Notes as well. This is the feature that allows users to share statuses with their friends, which appear above the message inbox. The user's friends will be able to see the song title and the songart to appear above the Note. Zuckerberg showed in a short video how users can select and add a section of a song to a Note, much like adding music to individual posts or Reels.
