Google started the conversation about Android 15 on February 17, releasing the first developer beta. Expectedly, the users of smartphones and tablets Samsung Galaxy wondering if their devices will receive the Android 15.
Android 15 is expected to be completed by Google by July. Then, the Samsung it will take a few more months to integrate it into the next version of One UI (One UI 7). So, Galaxy device owners will have to be patient until they can try out the new software.
How do I know if my device will get Android 15?
The official list of supported devices will not be published until Android 15 and One UI 7 are released on at least one Galaxy smartphone.
However, based on previous updates of the Android and One UI operating systems, we can create an unofficial list.
Which Samsung Galaxy devices might get Android 15 (One UI 7)?
- Galaxy S series: All models from Galaxy S21 and newer (S21, S21 FE, S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S24, S24+, S24 Ultra)
- Galaxy Z series: All Samsung foldable smartphones from Galaxy Z fold 3 and newer (Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5)
- Galaxy A Series: From some mid-range 2022 and 2023 devices such as the A33, A53, A73 and newer 2024 models (A14, A24, A34, A54, etc.)
- Galaxy Tab series: Top Samsung tablets released with Android 13 or later, such as Tab S8 series models and newer (Tab S8 Ultra, Tab S8+, Tab S8, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, Tab S9, Tab S9 FE+)
- Galaxy M and F series: Some newer M and F series devices released in 2023 or 2024 may receive the update.
