Vivo is gearing up to launch its new beast, the X100 Ultra, and the first teaser reveals some promising features. Jia Jingdong, Vice President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, confirmed the launch of the X100 Ultra in China for May.
Apart from the expected release, the teaser also revealed the BlueImage, Vivo's in-house imaging technology brand. Along with the BlueImage logo, we also saw the X100 Ultra's main sensor, which bears the Zeiss mark, signaling their continued collaboration.
Rumor has it that the X100 Ultra will stand out with its camera. According to information, it will have:
- Telephoto lens camera 200 megapixel periscope with 4,3x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom
- Main sensor LYT-900 50 megapixel
- Ultra wide angle 50 megapixel lens
- 50 megapixel telephoto camera
In addition to the impressive camera system, the X100 Ultra is expected to feature:
- 6,78-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate
- Powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor
It is worth noting that Vivo is preparing to launch two more smartphones in May: the X100s and X100s Pro. These will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 instead of chipset of Qualcomm.
